About us

Our design studio presque. is located in Nantes, France. We manufacture 3D printed objects. We have more than 10 years of professional experience in this field.

But to be completely transparent, the team is actually made up of some awesome 3D printers and... myself >>>

>>> I am Antoine CRISIAS, product designer. In 2015, I founded a brand of custom trophy design for companies, 3dpop trophées , which still exists. In 2018, I explored for the first time the design of 3D printed lighting, with a first project called 3dpop studio. In 2024, I reinvented this project with a new artistic direction: it's called presque. The goal is simple: to succeed in creating objects that please us, both you, my machines, and then me too.

3D printing

“Fused deposition modeling” 3D printing is at the heart of my creative process.
Presented in the form of a filament, the material is drawn into a print head and heated to a stable temperature to be deposited on a plate, thanks to the movements of the print head in "x" and "y" (2 of the 3 dimensions). "z", The 3rd dimension appears little by little, by the sequence of successive layers.

At presque., the object is imagined from the first pencil stroke to be printed in 3D. This allows for a fairly unique creative framework that imposes restrictions which are specific to this process but which provides visual effects that can only be obtained with Fused deposition modeling.

Why presque. ?

This adverb "presque" (which means "almost" in english) describes what is not quite finished, finalized. It reflects my approach to creation. There is no such thing as definitive certainty. The completion of a project will always lead to another. That's the beauty of this job. From ideation to final validation, including 3D modeling, assembly, ergonomics, choice of colors, prototypes... At the end of this creative process, final validation is the most difficult step.
